Why palmetto?
A blossom.
A bee.
A character
all its own.
Palmetto honey comes from bees foraging saw-palmetto blossoms. The plant is native to Florida and the southeastern United States. Its fragrant flowers attract bees that produce saw-palmetto honey.
Honey’s flavor and composition vary with its floral source. We chose palmetto honey because we want the honey to have a distinct presence in a creamy protein shake.
beeast is based in Stuart, Florida. Our commercial honey supplier and sourcing details are still being finalized.

Real honey over artificial sweeteners.
Flavor.
Carbohydrates.
No mystery.
Honey brings its own flavor and carbohydrates, mainly glucose and fructose. It also contains small amounts of naturally occurring compounds whose composition varies with the flowers the bees forage.
We pair that carbohydrate source with dairy protein in one bottle. Our reason for choosing honey starts with the ingredient itself and how it tastes.
Honey is still sugar. In a multi-ingredient drink, honey-derived sugars count as added sugars. Our current prototype has an estimated 16 g of added sugars from honey, included within approximately 20 g of total sugars.
All nutrition figures are calculated estimates, pending finished-product testing.
